The beta
Driveless is in private beta. Beta builds are provided as they are, for evaluation. We work hard to keep your files safe — every file is encrypted before it leaves your device and stored as three copies — but during the beta you should keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. We may change, pause or end the beta, and we will tell you before we do.
Prices before launch
Prices shown on the site are in US dollars and apply worldwide until the public launch in January 2027, when pricing in local currencies is introduced. The price you pay is the one shown at the time you subscribe; we will tell you before any change takes effect.
Your files
Your files are yours. We claim no rights over anything you store in Driveless, and we do not look at it except where you ask us to for support or where the law requires us to. You agree not to store anything that is illegal where you or we are, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
Fair use
Plans include the storage they say they include. We do not throttle streaming for normal use. If a single account’s usage is so far outside normal that it affects other people’s service, we will contact you before doing anything about it.
Cancelling
Paid plans are monthly or annual, and monthly plans can be cancelled any month. After a cancellation your files remain readable for a grace period so you can take them with you; the length of that period will be stated in the launch terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Driveless is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. If you are a consumer elsewhere, nothing here takes away rights your local law gives you.
